Yesterday we made the most of another beautiful Spring day and drove across the Island to Tofino and Ucluelet. It was well worth the tortuous drive, as you can see above. We had a picnic on Long Beach (the first two photos) while the tide was very low. The surf was high and we watched the surfers and kite flyers enjoying the windy weather. Then we drove into Tofino and had lovely views into the Clayoquot Sound (the last two photos).
The weather was warm in the glorious sunshine - not typical for the beginning of March. However, today it snows....................................................
